Alliance Mage Leveling Guide – What Is The Fastest Way To Level A WoW Mage

The cool thing about playing a mage and using a alliance mage leveling guide addon is that we have three easily viable talent specs to play. Although arcane, frost and fire can work equally as well at any given time depending on the changes of the most recent patch. There is a talent spec rotation I follow when working with a good alliance mage leveling guide addon to follow.

Early levels 1-20 I traditionally start with a fire spec because they power output is pretty much all you have to rely on while waiting for survival skills later on.

At the level 20-70 range on my alliance leveling guide. I will switch to a frost spec because it offers my utility for leveling and works equally as well in battlegrounds. 

Starting at level 70 I will switch to a prominent Arcane talent build all the way to level 80 and make sure to gem into the skills of the Arcane tree. Typically you will find yourself switching gems between haste and hit as your gear improves. It is my personal belief that as of World Of Warcraft patch 3.3 that Arcane still remains the highest consistent DPS spec in the class.

As far as professions I always recommend a mage go with tailoring and enchanting. This allows you to disenchant gear you obtain that you cannot wear as well as you those enchanting materials to enchant your own gear. Tailoring also offers a cheap way to get small gear upgrades at pretty much every level range.

The most fun I have ever had with a mage was using these 2 professions along with cooking and fishing while using the techniques in Auction House Mastery and one of my favorite in game alliance leveling guide.

I was able to hit level 80 in less than 9 days played time and had the gold to afford my epic flying as soon as I got there. The WoW Mage is by far my favorite class and I hope you enjoy playing it as well.
